TWO LEGAL ASSISTANTS
Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia

Bedford Law is a busy, client focused law firm located in Bedford, Nova Scotia. We have a congenial working environment and strive to offer both our lawyers and staff a balance between their professional and personal lives. We have recently expanded our practice to include five lawyers and accordingly have openings for TWO EXPERIENCED ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS to complement our additional staff.

The first position is a general administrative position with emphasis on property/real estate transactions during the busy property season. The position requires 3-5 years of experience working in this area of law and someone who has taken both the Land Registration and e-submission training. The successful candidate will also have experience dealing with general practice areas including wills, estates and civil litigation.

The second position will involve working with various areas of practice including corporate/commercial as well as some immigration matters and litigation.

The successful candidates for both positions must have Legal Secretarial diplomas or equivalent experience as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Preference will be given to those who possess working knowledge of PCLaw, Quattro Pro, and Word Perfect.
