Maureen Foley Ryan, B.A., LL.B

Maureen Foley Ryan’s practice focuses on Business and Corporate Law, Wills and Estate Planning, Immigration Law, Entertainment and Media Law, and Real Estate law, including Condominium Law, and property title migration.

Maureen received her law degree from Dalhousie University, (LL.B.) in 1979 and her undergraduate degree, (B.A.) from St. Francis Xavier University in 1976. She was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society in 1980.

Maureen previously taught Industrial Relations and Business Law at St. Francis Xavier University, and Business Law at Mount St. Vincent University in their Faculties of Business Administration. She is a past Director on the Board of the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Nova Scotia.

Maureen is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. She is an approved lawyer for Royal LePage Relocation Services, and for the Business Development Bank of Canada. Maureen is a member of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and American Association for Justice.
